Ed Neveleff JD, CFP®, CLTC®

Financial Advisor

Ed Neveleff entered the financial industry to follow one mission: To help clients successfully navigate the difficult financial journey to and through retirement by ensuring they will have adequate financial resources to sustain a comfortable and worry-free lifestyle throughout their retirement years.

Ed is first and foremost a husband and father.  He has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 31 years.  The most important thing Ed has done in his life is to raise two great kids, his daughter, Julie, and his son, James.  In fact, the kids followed Ed into the financial industry.  Julie is an investment banker and James is an accountant.

Ed practiced law for more than a decade. In the late 1990s, he began transitioning from the practice of law to an insurance and financial planning practice. While Ed recognizes the numerous other financial firms in and around the D.C. metro area, he believes his background and experience as a licensed attorney make him somewhat unique. He takes pride in offering customized financial strategies to every client he meets, rather than broad blanket solutions.

Ed earned his Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) from Georgetown University and has also achieved a Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC). He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree and went on to complete his juris doctorate degree from American University. Ed is currently an active member of the D.C. bar.

Ed has been profiled in Senior Market Advisor magazine and has been interviewed as a trusted industry source for various publications, including The Washington Post, insure.com, benefitnews.com, National Underwriter and A.M. Best.

Ed lives in North Potomac, Maryland.  When Ed is not at the office, he is spending time with his family, or indulging his interest in travel, hiking and photography.
